Description
Though refugees have come to occupy a central place in contemporary political discourse, few of us know the hardships of war and exile. In this session, we invite you to leave your homeland and to embark on that harrowing journey to find peace and freedom.
The experience of exile is as old as the concept of home and in this session, we will see its reiterations across space and time. From Afghanistan, China, Syria, and even Holland, we escape. What do you take with you and what do you leave behind? Where will you go ands who will you become at the end of the journey?
