In 1949, the Chinese Civil War forced many teenagers to flee to Taiwan with the Nationalist KMT. They never returned home and many of the men never got married. Today, each veteran’s tragic and heartbroken story has faded into the silence as each of them pass, one by one. This is the story of the survivors’ fear of being forgotten and their desire to be remembered until their remaining days.
